Verdict – Orange County

This case should have been resolved long ago, but Allstate Insurance “hid” behind their young insured driver as a tactic to avoid responsibility.

Our client was rear-ended by a large pick-up truck driven by a young man who had Allstate Insurance.  Instead of paying out Allstate’s $100,000 policy limits, our firm was tasked with having to try the case on behalf of our client.  It took four different trial attempts (continually delayed by Allstate’s lawyer) but eventually we were able to bring the matter to justice.  The real party involved was Allstate Insurance, who was really the one calling all the shots, but they hid behind their young insured driver and acting like he was the one who had to pay the result.  That type of presentation was quite misleading, but there was nothing we could do about it with the way the law is currently written. But thankfully their “hide and seek” games made no difference.  An Orange County jury so graciously saw fit to return an over 7 figure verdict as “justice” for a deserving client of ours. While we always strive for more, as any true fighter would, we could not be more happy for our client who literally cried tears of joy upon hearing that the jury believed his losses were real and valuable. Seeing the happiness that our client had is the kind of personal satisfaction that makes all our own individual sacrifices feel justified. As silly as this may sound, it is not always about the money but rather the personal vindication that brings our firm contentment.  We were happy that Ben chose our firm to be his warrior.
