Attorney Jeffrey Byrd was brought into this case at the last minute by another local law firm who asked for help for their client.

The case involved a motor vehicle crash with a negligent driver who was insured by Nationwide Insurance. The insurance company refused to pay the $50,000 insurance policy, despite repeated requests to pay the claim. This resulted in a trial and ultimately a sizable jury verdict when the jury did not believe the defendant’s excuses for why our client’s injuries were small and insignificant. Jeff was the lead trial counsel in this case.
