As our elderly client was headed home from dropping her grandson off at school, an out-of-control box truck flipped over on to her vehicle. 

Progressive insured the trucking company for 1 million dollars but they refused for many years to pay the insurance policy limits to our injured, elderly client despite many attempts by her to settle the case.  She had to have a variety of surgeries to treat her injuries to include spine surgery and shoulder replacement surgery.  The Orange County jury understood the significant impact this crash had upon our client’s life even though the insurance company said all her problems were “age-related” which was ridiculous. The verdict exceeded the available insurance coverage which proves that our client was not unreasonable in seeking the maximum policy payout all along.
