A young high-school student pulled into the path of our client, causing a significant crash.

Because the young girl had no insurance, our client brought an uninsured motorist claim against his insurance company, Safeco. Safeco did not timely pay the $50,000 UM policy limits. Even though this case went to verdict many years ago, Safeco has continued to delay payment to their own client, and forced several appeals that went all the way to the Florida Supreme Court, where our client won. That Florida Supreme Court case also changed the law throughout the State of Florida for the benefit of people who have to fight against their own insurance companies.
